Spring cleaning my inbox and I found a link Chris sent me to a story from Wilmington Magazine, an online magazine for fine Cape Fear living.
The online magazine profiles Keith Rhodes, a chef who follows his dream of opening his very own restaurant. It's a great story of a family man who "wanted to create a local, neighborhood place where you can get your money’s worth and get good, well-prepared food.” The article follows Rhodes through the planning, hard work and health inspections that he endured to get to the end goal of opening his restaurant.
It also turns out that for inspiration, he turned to Savory New York, "not to look for recommendations but to watch
the videos, the small clips filmed at boutique restaurants around the
city that include interviews with owners and chefs." "It’s so inspiring,
when I feel tired or down,” he says. “I look at them and think 'That’s
what I want to do."
We can't wait to make it down to Wilmington, NC to check out Rhodes' restaurant, Catch, and perhaps film it for the site. If any of you make it there before we do, drop us a line and let us know what you think. We wish Rhodes the best of luck and success - and kudos for pursuing his dream.

Catch in Wilmington, NC is incredible! Lunch is a unique dining experience where it is all about delicious seafood. Chef Rhodes puts together dishes that have a flavor like no other. I highly recommmend anyone in the area check out this landmark in taste.
Lunch at Catch in Wilmington, NC today was incredible. I had a scallop dish which included creamed sweet potatoes that were garnished with tomatoe, mushroom, celery, ect. The combination of flavor was totally devine. I am suprised everytime I go!
I eat at Catch almost once a week. The Ho Chi Min Salad with Calamari and grapefruit is so delicious. I also love the Oyster PoBoys, Shrimp and Grits and on my the Charleston Lump Crab Cake on the Curried Potato Salad is DELISH!! Chef Rhodes has a wonderful flair and eye for pairing food that you ordinarily would not think to put together. And the Presentation is AWESOME you don't even want to eat it just because how gorgeous it is not to mention the prices are super affordable.

I agree with what everyone else has said about the fabulous food at CATCH. But you simply must visit it for yourself to appreciate the whole package. The quaint atmosphere of the restaurant and downtown Wilmington make it complete.
