A few months ago we were approached by the National Restaurant Association to present an educational session at their annual show on how restaurants can utilize online video to attract new customers. Needless to say, we're honored to present on this topic. Over the last year and half we've worked with nearly 200 top chefs and restaurateurs in New York, San Francisco and Chicago to produce videos that help people make better decisions about where to dine out. We look forward to sharing what we've learned with show attendees.
Last week Citysearch launched a paid for video program (see an example here) that will allow restaurants that might not be featured on Savory to use video to tell their story. We're curious to see if Citysearch users will recognize them as paid for ads and how useful they'll find them.
At our NRA show session we'll be talking about the increasing number of options for restaurateurs and managers to use video, how to prepare for a video shoot once it's been booked and how to get the most out of your video once it's done. If you're planning to be at the show come hear us talk at 2pm on Tuesday, May 22nd or just stop by to say hello after.
