
We admit to spending a bit more time using Twitter than we probably should. After a skeptical start we quickly warmed up to its charms, or rather, the charms of friends and other people, web sites and companies that use the increasingly popular "microblogging" service to share news, random thoughts, interesting links and other various bits of information.
If you're addicted to all things food and restaurant-related in NYC and are curious about this whole Twitter craze, here's a short list of active NYC food-obsessed Twitter users to help get you started.

shakeshack - Line wait times and various random Shack chatter.
amateurgourmet - Random musings from he of "Only A Jerk Would Eat At Le Cirque" fame.
BravoTopChef - Top Chef season 4 BFFs Spike and Andrew's running commentary on Top Chef NYC.
TheFeedbag - For those who care to track what Mr. Cutlets had for lunch and who he's getting chummy with.
savorycities - Last, but we hope not least, follow Savory Cities to get updates on new restaurant videos, restaurant openings and links to food-related articles and web sites.

A site that just lists shake shack times? How about a site like devotes itself to finding AS MUCH GREAT NY FOOD AS POSSIBLE!?
