A little while back we posted an abridged list of NYC food blogs, publications and writers who were going whole hog on Twitter. Since then the microblogging phenom has been graced by a new wave of influential media types as well as a growing list of high profile chefs. Here are a few of the more prolific to date.
Grant Achatz - The award-winning chef and owner of
Alinea in Chicago. A recent tweet alluded to a new Chicago side project.
Chris Cosentino - Everyone's favorite "offal guy" and chef/owner of
Incanto and Boccalone in SF.
Daniel Patterson - The author of
Aroma and celebrated chef at
Coi in SF.
Norman Van Aken - The godfather of "New World Cuisine" and the chef and owner of
Norman's in South Florida.
Rick Tramonto - The chef and owner of fine dining Mecca,
Tru, in Chicago. Unlimited Ideas. Unlimited Creativity. Unlimited Boundaries. Unlimited Twittering.
Rocco Dispirito - The former high flying chef of Union Pacific and more recently
Dancing with the Stars.
Ivy Stark - Executive chef at

A few others show early promise, including King Phojanakong of Kuma Inn, Jody Williams of Gottino and molecular gastronomist extraordinaire Homaru Cantu of Moto.
