Arun's shines as a place of high ambition. There is no menu; rather, after a brief discussion of food preferences, sensitivities and allergies, diners are treated to a 12-course, $85 progression designed by the kitchen. Customizing each diner's menu places extraordinary pressure on the kitchen; very few restaurants would even attempt the concept. - Phil Vettel
