Shoehorned into a narrow space that barely seats 50, Avec was conceived as a casual wine bar, a drop-in-anytime sort of place--Blackbird quality without the formality. Accordingly, there are no reservations, and seating is communal, at rectangular, eight-seat tables and a long bar that functions as a postmodern diner counter. - Phil Vettel

Great place for a little food adventure, all about flavor and combinations. Definitely on the list of frequent haunts with a variation on the menu everytime. Medjool dates with chorizo...a must.
