The tapas weren't as traditional as expected, and the flavors were spicy - more of a moroccan flair than spanish. Ambiance was brilliant though, very quaint and romantic. The bill adds up quickly with those little plates - more value to get the entire menu for 350!

Superb! I went for Restaurant week 2009, and though the amount of food for the price was a great value. The sea bass with miso glaze was out of this world: it melted in the mouth! The sushi was also very fresh. The banana dim sum was too gooey and not pleasant.

Absolutely amazing milkshakes! The burgers were way too greasy though, and the patties were very thin. If you make a stop here, skip the burgers and go straight for the milkshakes. This place has a very mcdonalds feel, with slightly (though not much) more class.

I remember the choices being limited, but very tasty. Space is cramped but adds to the fun! Delicious frozen mojitos!!! yum!!! A very fun (and tasty) spot!

Creative intentions with the flavors, but not extremely well executed. The atmosphere is quite sleek with a splash of zen, and complete with reflective pools. Tabs are high - maybe skip the food and come for a few drinks instead.

One of the best meals I have enjoyed in NYC, with the price to match. The tuna tartare was to die for (and meant for two). The surroundings define what it means to dine in NYC; creative, trendy, and sexy, adorned with hanging swords and other such textured materials that make the large space seem much more intimate.

Despite many attempts to order drinks and food, it took about 25 minutes before we could get the waiter to stay long enough to take our order! The food was OK, the ham didn't taste fresh and the sweet pea ravioli had distinctive flavors that didn't quite work... great atmosphere, very romantic but food wasn't worth the trip

The service was very poor and rushed. The space is a too barren and airy with little to achieve intimacy (aside from the lighting). I wasn't crazy about the food.

Extreme attention to detail in regards to food preparation and service execution. Very small plates (the waiter said they are meant to be shared but they are simply not big enough to share).

Delicious and extremely authentic Mexican food! A great little find for a relaxed and quick delicious meal. The space itself is very tiny, but quite charming in itself! Service was attentive and friendly, not terribly difficult with a restaurant of its size though.

Went here for the thanksgiving meal - a very appropriate atmosphere for the occasion, charming and authentic feeling! The food was delicious, but at times a bit salty. Wonderfully attentive service, all in all a worthwhile and memorable experience!

The outside ambiance is terrific and cozy while still maintaining its sexiness. The food (and we ordered a lot of it) was sub-par and the service was seriously lacking. Go for a drink pre-night out and spend your money on food elsewhere (like Matsuri or Koi).

Probably one of the more charming tapas bars I've visited so far in NY. The food was actually quite authentic as well (I've lived in Spain). They sometimes have live flamenco which is always a great experience. A definite recommend both for the food and the ambiance!

Terrific brunch, with a bright and airy atmosphere (think billowing white curtains and tons of light). Very interesting cuisine not commonly found around these parts (Australian/New Zealand) with clever concepts (such as the monthly wine club). Loved it!

A new concept to me that I was previously unaware of! I ventured to a new planet and found unique flavors and excellent presentation. This was definitely a place worth visiting for the food and the concept alone. Standard new york sheik space: dark and minimalist.

Bland ambiance but stellar food and great attention to detail when it comes to service! One of the better Japanese restaurants in NY that I've tried, and it evades the pretentious attitude that other Japanese restaurants often have.

Horrid food with either too little or too overpowering flavors. Lacking ambiance and the setting/view are severely unimpressive - the restaurant itself is also quite difficult to get to and from. Skip this place.

Incredibly inventive and creative. A unique experience in itself that will truly awaken your taste buds in ways you never imagined. Slightly industrial ambiance and little romantic or sexy elements to the space but a must for the food alone!

I was skeptical at first, given the reviews I have read about the food, however, I was pleasantly surprised! The ahi tuna small bite plate was very flavorful! We had a group of 7 and not one complaint about the food!
The service really lacked, and they even forgot to bring out someone's order.
Ambiance was so romantic - the outdoor seating was lovely on a summer evening! I will definitely be returning for another romantic evening!

Great place for brunch! Very upbeat, pretty loud, lines move quickly, awesome food! Both the potato waffles with poached eggs and the french toast with carmelized bananas were to die for! Would love to try out the dinner menu here! I will definitely be going back!

The perfect local spot with outdoor seating! Unlimited (warm) bread with your meze - one of the better turkish spots I've been to in the city. Very reasonable price for the quality!

Way too loud to even have a conversation with the person across the table from you. I think the food was uninspired, sadly. The salad was shredded and impossible to eat - the dressing tasted like water.

Absolutely charming farm-like space, very homey. Service was fast and the food was good - had a wrap for lunch. They had a nice selection of wraps and terrific french press coffee! A cozy spot for a rainy morning breakfast.

An OK place for breakfast, but not really worth the wait in line. Bacon was cut too thick, french toast was pretty tasty but not the best. Loud space with not too much charm, but good for a low key brunch.

I had high expectations of this place (as a native of Italy brought me here) and they were definitely surpassed. This place has grown over the past few years but still maintains its true-to-form and wonderfully authentic and tasty menu!

Ramsay outdoes himself once again and achieves absolute perfection and innovation in his flavors. The room itself was modern and trendy, though slightly cramped and loud. The pan seared foie gras and beets with ricotta are two of my all time favorites. The service was patchy and rushed.

Too stuffy, very secluded seating, live piano (great!), I feel like you would go to this place to avoid being seen by anyone...

Interesting food flavors (their hamburger has fried egg, pineapple, bacon, tomato, cheese and lettuce)... they have a great $15 all you can drink brunch... lots of fun!

A surprisingly quaint and delicious find! The back garden is absolutely perfect on a summer/fall/spring evening - very spacious and romantic. Many of the foods on the menu were homemade and very tasty! I was nicely surprised and would definitely go back for a nice, relatively inexpensive meal! At least go for a drink in the back garden, and the music was great (they had a dj!)

Really excellently flavored and quality Moroccan fare. The ambiance (granted I went during the week) was not terrific, but the food definitely warrants a visit! Extremely well received, with terrific spices and authentic flavors! I would love to go back!

YUM! If you live in the neighborhood, you must try this place. Small, quaint space with delicious plates! They even serve beer from Turkey (which is equally as delicious as their food!) One complaint - the lentil soup is not that great - too watery!

Quite empty for brunch in that area (made me wonder) - didn't get a chance to see the outdoor space, sadly. The food was pretty standard, but the restaurant itself is not as upscale/classy as it would appear in design. Service was horrendous - the guy wouldn't give us straws with our drinks because they were " running out"... Not sure how long this place will last...

Hidden away with no marked entrance (other than a small light) above steel doors. Ate in the basement - really well done theme atmosphere, not cheezy at all! The concept and blend of flavors was phenomenal - the truffle croquetes were to die for! Great scene! Great food!

Terrific, authentic Spanish food in midtown! The restaurant design is also very appealing! Really buzzy after work spot, you can sit outside as well! This restaurant has become very popular very quickly - a definite try for quality food in midtown!

An amazing (and relatively inexpensive) find in Chelsea Market! The breakfast sandwich was really delicious - and the bowl of fruit was huge! Really a great value - I hope to return to try their lunch soon!
