Perhaps I chose the wrong dish but the gnocchi was mealy and not substantive. the sauce of braised porcini and butternut squash was very good but a bit underseasoned.
Service is excellent, very attentive, and experiencing only minor setbacks all attributable to the newness of the restaurant. Dessert (Peanut Butter Gelato with Grape Preserves and Cinnamon Crusted Challah) was the standout of the meal.
Restaurant is lovely, great ambiance, very hip bar scene. None of the attitude you'd expect from a place with such hype. Atmosphere was a home run, food is competent but could use a few tweaks. 10 Downing is worth a visit, and will most likely improve with age.
