Superb! I went for Restaurant week 2009, and though the amount of food for the price was a great value. The sea bass with miso glaze was out of this world: it melted in the mouth! The sushi was also very fresh. The banana dim sum was too gooey and not pleasant.
I have found enough incredible "hole in the wall" japanese restaurants, to make me skeptical about paying up for sushi. However, bond st is well worth it. hih quality food with a chic presentation. be conscience of the small portions when ordering. the restaurant has a crisp feeling to it- very grey and white coloring to complement the food! however, last time i was there was with a group of 6 and we could not hear across the table so I do recomend going with just one or two other people
