One of Bún's best dishes is doomed to be avoided by the more squeamish clientele — duck hearts and tongues ($9) - Paul Adams

Bun (pronounced BOON) is affordable (all dishes are $6 to $12) and it serves a menu of creative small plates, like boar blood sausage with pickled papaya, and Vietnamese classics, like filling bowls of pho. About half the dishes incorporate bun (rice vermicelli), in salads and soups or wrapped up in summer rolls. bun is an upscale vietnamese joint that serves excellent traditional dishes with quality ingredients. no more duck tongues and hearts, however.
