very low key...feels more like italy than NYC than many of the italian restaurants in the city. i have gone back several times. service is very friendly and attentive.

My fiancee and I went here last night and it was truly the best dining experience that we've had in midtown. If you're looking for a village type restaurant with great wine, food, atmosphere, and service, but want to stay in midtown, you should try Gallo Nero. We really loved our experience there and will definitely go back...
