For the price, there are alot of better places to eat. We were not impressed with the food.

Had a wonderful lunch on the fly. There was no room to sit but they found us a spot at the lunch bar.

A decent place to take out of visitors, but avoid if you really want decent seafood.

Definitely a place to see and be, but the food was not the best. Tried the standard fish and chips, none of the specialties or raw bar. Wanted to see if they could do the basics first. Menu was top notch. Fish was breaded but underdone... like breaded sushi.. tartar sauce was light and tasty. Service was good but not helpful. Overall disappointing.

Where else do you get a choice of 30 types of oysters and over 20 types of fish all in one restaurant. Yes it can be busy especially at lunch so get there early and enjoy a great bowl of chowder! It's a restaurant you don't want to miss when in New York City.

the absolute mecca of ocean harvest celebrations. I've never ever been let down here. Don't come for clever creations, inspired sauces or fusion takes....come for what God has wrought....fresh from the sea and perfectly, subtly, and explodingly flavored fresh seafood. The treats from our oceans are sublime pleasures and the talent at the oyster bar is in their ability not to alter too much.
