Critic Reviews

Should we subtract a star for the absurd reservation system? But then we’d have to add it right back because the price is so good. And then there’s the food, which Chang, already a multi-star chef, takes to another level. - Adam Platt

Ko looks to the future, ignoring the old rules and beckoning epicures open to new ones. - Frank Bruni

So while Ko might be one of America's great restaurants, it's not quite a four-star restaurant. - Ryan Sutton

if you're familiar with the agony of the 10am resy battle, all i can say is be persistent. it's well worth it. the crescendo of our evening was the grated frozen foie gras over lychee, riesling geleé and pine nuts. other highlights were the sweet corn ravioli with chorizo and the split egg with caviar and chips. solid service. get the wine pairing.
