make a res and enter the speakeasy through the phone booth inside crif dogs. fancier crif dogs go well with the tasty cocktails. the cheesy tots are excellent, chang dog and burger are ok. excellent service, cool bartenders and servers.

Despite the annoying 3-PM-reservation policy, once inside the drinks are pretty damn good. Sadly, there can be a pretty dramatic variation of quality depending on the bartender. The bacon bourbon drink is great; their gin fizzes are good when made right; the addition of a chihuahua dog is awesome.

The service is pretty good. The crowd is pretty good and because they keep the numbers low it doesn't get too crowded or too loud.

Edit: In recent months they have greatly expanded their drink menu, and I think at this point they are one of the top libation destinations in the city.
