This rustic restaurant holds a dizzying array of Italian wines by the glass; the bartender even visits your table to make sure the food matches the drink. Small...
Fun lad back atmosphere... the menu is innovative and many of the dishes very unusual. The Parmesan Cheese creme brulle was creamy and balanced very well with the balsamic vingear reduction on top. The grilled zuchinni came with a side of basil sorbet which was light and gave the dish a nice summery taste. Overall the food was very good and fairly priced. The service was ok, but not uncommon for a restaurant in the LES.
pumpkin ravioli and creme brulee di parmigiano are solid. pork belly is delicate and the beef cheek entree is excellent. however i didn't get the accompanying celery root puree and polenta chips. good wine list with a lot of options under $50. quaint space.
