Love it! Whether you want to have an exceptional cocktail at the bar or in the nice loungey rooms, or you want to sit down for a full 5 course meal, Public is awesome. A great place for the adventurous palate, they are really doing some novel things with their food. And, unlike some experimental restaurants, it all tastes good too.
Terrific brunch, with a bright and airy atmosphere (think billowing white curtains and tons of light). Very interesting cuisine not commonly found around these parts (Australian/New Zealand) with clever concepts (such as the monthly wine club). Loved it!
Had the foie gras as appetizer. Perfectly cooked sauce was great. Then had the risotto...simply disgusting. Dry not creamy at all. The dish was red - made me feel like eating blood. Very disappointed. The other dishes my friends ordered did not seem a lot better...
