Yum Yum Yum!! Popped open the bottle of organic/sustainable wine we ordered and dove in! We started with the Charcuterie Plate and the Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho soup of the day. Yum! Next we had the Sumac rubbed Chicken (with shaved fennel and feta salad, with roasted local blackberries) and Salt Crust Baked Duck (with plum dumplings, black kale and crushed walnut jus) -- YUM! We ended with a plate of their homemade cookies and a great cup of coffee!! I MUST get the recipe for their homemade Oreos -- OH MY! Amazing. On a return trip during the winter season they, again, beat my expectations. It sits on my favorite restaurants of NYC for a reason -- it never lets me down!

I love the ambience, as well as their mission statement and the value they place on supporting local agriculture. Think Peter Hoffman is great.

Lunch, dinner..it doesn't matter; Savoy is right on. Their cassoulet is very special.
