Critic Reviews

Among the appetizers are plenty of unexpected dishes or dishes with clever twists. Instead of crab cakes, Stone Park serves bluefish cakes, taming the assertiveness and oiliness of the fish by smoking it with alder chips and then flaking, breading and pan-searing it. The result was terrific, and the restaurant garnished the crisp cakes with a fantastic slaw that used celery root in place of cabbage and threw in capers. - Frank Bruni

I've been here for dinner twice and brunch. The marrow bones are excellent, and the beer float dessert is fun. I recommend the Lang and Reed cab franc. You don't see it often.

This place is really the best option for excellence in Park Slope. Everything is good here, full bar, food, service, but it doesn't feel stuffy or overbearing. Brunch isn't quite as good as dinner.
