I Thought I Broke A Tooth... DO NOT ORDER THE BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN. The chicken was fried SO hard that when I bit into it, I thought I broke a tooth! The only part of that meal which was edible were the mashed potatoes and cole slaw. But since it only cost $13.95, (and no real damage was done), being tired and hungry, I just did not have the energy to send it back. The $5.95 banana chocolate milk-shake was very good (yup! I totally blew the gym work out), and the overall service was just standard. My other complaint: Why, WHY! Must the music be SO loud? Although dining alone, I noticed (rather heard) other diners literally screaming at each other in order to be heard. Knock, knock fellas! ...Its a restaurant and not the Roxy. Even the music levels of Splash are not at these decible levels. What is the problem with the volume knobs in Chelsea, SHEESH!!!! What I liked about the place? The album cover concept was fun. It brought back some memories. In fact the overall scheme of the place was fun and unique. Other than that, the bartender was cute. So, for a bill of $25 (ncluding tip) would I go back? Well..In never ordering the fried chicken ever again AND if I pass by and hear the "background" music (LOL!) at a civilized level...probably. Its an inexpensive meal with a menu that has some edible items.
