If you can get over the vibe of the bad theme restaurant, you might not get past the food. Ordered chicken wings and a burger, both items were mediocre. The chicken wings in particular were drenched in super hot sauce, the chicken was stringy and the blue cheese sauce seemed like it came from a bottle labeled, "ranch."

Truly a class act. This was a fantastic dining experience, one that will stay in my memory for a long time. I would add this to a list of important restaurants to try in my life.

The last time we ate here, about 6 months ago, the food was pretty disappointing, which made me sad bc this should be a great neighborhood spot. On the bright side, we had a friend recently dine here and she said it was good - not knock your socks off, but good. Maybe we were there on an off night...?

Recently ate brunch here. The food was good but I was so disappointed by the service. Drinks and coffee took forever to arrive, and when they did, they came out in waves. Also sad to say, that the staff all had an attitude that screamed, "I hate that I'm here" mixed in with a little too cool for school air. The owners are great and friendly, so it's sad to see that the staff doesn't reflect that enthusiasm.

When we first started going to Lucali, we were in love. We've returned at least a dozen times and found that the pizza can be a little inconsistent. We still love it - prob best pizza close to where we live but now the lines have made it a place we go to with less regularity.

Pretty good burger. Not too greasy, nice fixin's (although I wasn't crazy about the homemade katsup). They also have a 2 for 1 special from 3-6pm on weekdays that I wouldn't mind going back for!

Small but very cute atmosphere. You really get the sense that the owners care, and that they're there every night. Our meal wasn't perfect but there were elements to it that were very good, e.g. I had the roasted chicken that was perfect. The accompanying mash potato was very good but the braised leek was pretty bad. Also, my dining companion ordered a drink that advertised being made with Plymouth gin, and we watched the bartender pour from a bottom of the line brand. All that being said, I'd like to go back.

The wines list is fantastic and the small plates on the menu are great accompaniments. It's a cozy enviornment, refined but not stuffy at all.

I wish I could go here and order something other than the burger. April's food is great. Sometimes, I'm able to persuade my dining companion to order apps with me and split the burger but when I've finished my half, I regret that I didn't have a whole one to myself.

wd-50 is one of those special places that I love to go to. Wylie and his team are incredibly creative, prepare tasty food and never have I had a disappointing experience. I like bringing people here because there is such a wow factor to what he's doing. Definitely an important restaurant to experience at least once. Also, we recently discovered that it's a fun spot for a cocktail and dessert.

I sat at the sashimi bar for a lunch and ate some of loveliest fish. This is a brilliant restaurant for a business lunch and at night, the space becomes very romantic. I look forward to returning and sitting at a table.

One of the places I recommend to people who are traveling to SF for a meal. Very seasonal great food served in a groovy atmosphere and everyone you interact with are super friendly. It was here that I was introduced to pimientos de padron. It's my SF crave.

Whenever I'm in SF I have to go to this restaurant - sometimes I make it in more than once during a trip. It's super seasonal and delicious food served in an energetic atmosphere. You can also eat alone to the right of the pass at a little counter. It's one of my favorite places. One thing to note: whispered sweet nothings will be lost in the din (energy) of the restaurant.

Went here for brunch. Nothing remarkable other than the buttermilk pancakes were rubbery. We believed them to be under-cooked, but were told that's how they come out. I wouldn't recommend them. My french toast was fine. A little steep for a cash only joint though.

This is Chris and my #1 go-to spot for Pho. The place is nothing to look at but the soup and other dishes are great. We also enjoy the crispy spring rolls and a few other dishes, the names of which escape me now.

We recently ate here with a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. The food met our expectations but the service was really friendly and professional. They have a giant wine list, so if you want to go and drink nice wine and eat mussels or a late night snack, it would be a good choice. Cute bistro atmosphere too.

3 of us went to grab a bite here and all ordered different things. Safest bet is to stick with the Minca Ramen. It was fine but not as great as was stated by the blog I read who inspired me to seek this place out. To each his own I suppose.

Totally cute neighborhood hang out but I was a little disappointed by the food. I read some great reviews about the place and didn't really feel like it lived up to the acclaim it received. I would definitely give it another shot but there are other places to try first.

Perhaps not a great summer restaurant destination since the restaurant is in the basement. The food was fine but not remarkable. It's pretty simple and straightforward. Service is less than attentive and insincere.

The restaurant is a little expensive but the pasta is good. The service is kind and attentive. Good family place but check their hours bc they're only open 5d/week and a reservation is essential.
