Critic Reviews

Wonderful brasserie atmosphere and hits like quiche steak frites and pot de creme. Tables are very close together. - Michael Bauer

So what if Thomas Keller opened a spin-off on the Vegas strip? His original Bouchon shows no signs of slipping.

The atmosphere felt a little stuffy to me. Not my favorite wine country excursion. Prefer Bistro Jeanty up the street.

I have eaten here three times. Once I had a great waiter. Twice I had the rudest and least competent waiters you could ever wish on an enemy. The last time was th clincher -the waitress was downright arrogant and unpleasant and my 80 year old parents were treated very poorly. Never again.

What a clever and beautiful place with wonderful bistro food. Most of us can't eat at The French Laundry often, but you can eat at Bouchon often and never be disappointed.
